A global climate pact requires negotiators to listen to each other
For many years now, climate change negotiations are not delivering what the world needs in order to stay below an increase of 2ºC. The influence of inaction and lack of ambition or compromise from developed countries means new big emitters are not willing to move forward.

Enrique Maurtua Konstantinidis es Responsable del Departamento de Cambio Climático de Fundación Biosfera y Actualmente es el Coordinador de Climate Action Network LatinAmerica (CANLA) donde coordina los esfuerzos de numerosas organizaciones de la sociedad civil organizada en toda la región Latinoamericana. Ha trabajado también para el Secretariado de CAN International en el área Política y sigue las negociaciones de Cambio Climático desde el año 2004. Desde el año 2009 asiste a la mayoría de las reuniones de la CMNUCC y otros eventos relacionados.
